Some second-tier celebrities died in the past several days, and I never got around to mentioning any of them. So now would probably be a good time to mention them all:
Abby Dalton, who is probably best remembered for her role on the prime time soap Falcon Crest or being on a bunch of game shows in the 1970s and 80s, died in late November aged 88, although her passing didn't make the news until several days later. I remember her from the game shows, but also from a very early role of hers in the underrated movie Stakeout on Dope Street.
Warren Berlinger died on Wednesday at the age of 83. He was in a series of movies in the 50s such as Teenage Rebel, where he played with Betty Lou Keim. The two would go on to marry in 1960 and be married for 49 years until Keim's death. He was also in Blue Denim together with Brandon de Wilde, and a bunch of other movies. Berlinger also made several appearances on Broadway.
Pamela Tiffin also died on Wednesday, aged 78. She has a string of successess in the first half of the 1960s, most notably One, Two, Three, as well as The Pleasure Seekers, which is a remake of Three Coins in the Fountain (before Tiffin's time) that is coming up this week on FXM. That's Tiffin together with Horst Buchholz in One, Two, Three.
Finally, I should probably mention David L. Lander, even though he too is one of those people best known for TV. He played Squiggy on Laverne and Shirley before being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the mid-1980s. After acting, Lander worked as a scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lander was 73.
