This month marks 100 years since the birth of actor William Holden, who won a Best Actor Oscar for Stalag 17. So it's not surprising that TCM has selected Holden to be Star of the Month this April. Holden's movies will be airing every Monday in prime time, which I'll assume was selected so that they could have five nights of Holden's movies. The actual Holden centenary is April 17. The only Holden we get that day is the overnight stuff that continues prime time from Monday, April 16.
The Holden movies are grouped in somewhat chronological order, with mostly earlier stuff tonight, such as Golden Boy kicking the night off at 8:00 PM. However, the night also includes Executive Suite from 1954 at 10:00 PM. And there's 40s stuff on the 16th in the form of Apartment for Peggy. As for Stalag 13, that will be on at 10:00 PM April 9.
Sorry I don't have any Holden pictures at hand; I still haven't gotten around to dealing with all the Photobucket stuff and trying to post first thing in the morning on weekdays isn't the most conducive for posting photos.
